This is an authentic Mexican dry rub that works great on anything you are smoking or grilling and looking for a Mexican rub that will explode with flavor and add a little bit of spice!

Ingredients For Mexican Spice Rub

This is a simple set of ingredients that you will hopefully have most of them in the house already. You can scale this as necessary depending on how much you need. One great part about this rub, we do it without any kind of brown sugar so its sugar free, if you are looking for that.

Measure out your rub ingredients, add to a bowl and then mix them together. Before you know it you have a wonderful and spicy Mexican dry rub mix.

  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced onions (substitute with onion powder if you do not have the minced onion flakes)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
